66/67 nova experts
I'm rebuilding a 327sbc for my 66 nova....Will I need a different oil pan other than a stock pan??..I was told that the original one would work...But I thought I'd ask.....Thanks

Re: 66/67 nova experts
If you already have a front-sump 283 pan, you're good to go. If you don't, you need one plus the oil pump to match.
The clutch cross-shaft ball is in an odd ball location for the box Nova in case you're using a non-Nova block for a manual shift car. I had to make an offset bracket when I did mine years back. Bob |

Re: 66/67 nova experts
Thanks Bob..
I'm watching one on ebay right now ..It's up for bid...starting at $100....Buy it now work $200 plus....I don't think there is a reserve... If you were to go to Ebay 327 oil pan in cars & parts....Take a look at it and let me know if thats the one I need...I sure would be greatful....Or if you know where I might be able to find one.....reasonable....Thanks again... Re: 66/67 nova experts
I'm a tad late getting back to you. If you didn't win the auction, check with your Chevy dealer, they should be able to special order it for you. The BIN price of $200 seems a little high to me.
