95 Blazer fuel relay

I have a 95 S-10 Blazer with 100,000 on it. It has had the fuel pump replaced twice already. I keep having to replace the fuel relay about every ten to twenty starts. The relay gets real hot and eventually blows and the car stops. After it cool down abit or I replace the relay, it will start. At a loss on the problem.

Re: 95 Blazer fuel relay

Have you determined if the relay coil is failing or is it the high current side that's failing? Are you sure you're using the original part number relay? Have you measured the current draw of the fuel pump?
