missfire

Hello I have a 2001 olds alero 3.4V6 it all started with a small chug like a misfire changed the plugs got even worse put oem plugs in was fine untill it wormed up then chug chug again (at all speeds even at idle) changed wires you can still here the missfire when it is ideling did not take it for a test drive for i know that it will do the some thing has any one else had the same problem or can someone stear me in to the right direction?

Changing the wires fixed mine. You were right to go with OEM plugs, as these cars don't seem to like any other kind. I hope you put in some quality wires as well.
If you have a check engine light on, have the car scanned at autozone, they will do it for free. The code will tell you which cylinder has the misfire, and help your troubleshooting.
It is possible that you got some bad gas, maybe try a bottle of gas line dryer? Also consider fuel injector cleaner, but that is less likely since your problem went away after you put on new wires. Check that both ends of all the wires are secure. Did you put some splug wire grease on the ends of the plugs, and the ignition coils when you changed the wires? If not, do it.
If none of those things work, you may have an ignition coil going bad. Let us know what you find out.

Hello thank you for your reply i live in canada so we do not a a autozone but i got someone to do a code read and code 341 cam sensor i changed it to day and i will just wate and see
