Wtf!!??

My 95 Rodeo was running fine when I shut it off this afternoon at the gym. I came back out 1 hour later and when I cranked the truck it sputters pops and will hardly idle. It would barely gain rpm. Finanlly it stopped idling at all. This sounds to me like either injector clogged, fuel filter clogged, bad gas, or ex-wife pouring sugar in the gas tank ha... Any thoughts. It is currently sitting in the parking lot at the gym.

Re: Wtf!!??

I imagine you've probably fixed this by now.. I'm not a mechanic, but sounds like a similar problem I had and is common across these posts. Bet you found your EGR check valve was clogged. Mine got too clogged once and then wouldn't run at all, had to keep the foot on the gas when stopped at a light to drive home. You can buy a new EGR or usually cleaning it out with some carb cleaner will free it back up. There are maintenance procedures posted out here for this. You'd be amazed at how your engine will run after doing this.
