Air Suspension Problem

I have a 95 TC and it seems to sit REALLY high in the rear, and sag in the front. Is there a way to manually adjust the ride heigt or air bags. Also is there a noteable problem with this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Air Suspension Problem

Air springs are operated by height sensors and they can be adjusted manually. their is usually one in rear and one on each side in the front.
Make sure they are properly connected, you may have to replace them. Not a problem finding then in the junk yard. They are very easy to remove.

Re: Air Suspension Problem

Also, you might need to replace the front springs to restore their original height. I don't see the front height specs. in the book, but I imagine if you check the rears (that spec. is readily available), the fronts should have the same fender/wheel.well/tire spacing as the rears.

Here's the adjustment details ErickTR mentioned for the rears:

Re: Air Suspension Problem

Ford made a shim kit for those front springs, I don't know if it's still available. A very common problem. No way that I know of to manually adjust the rears, without relocating the mounting points for the sensor. Fix the front springs, and that will probably solve the problem.
