Air Cooled GB: Tamiya Beetle (of a smaller nature!)
Well this air-cooled group build intrigued me enough to start a beetle. A little different than the norm, its a 1/48 Military kit that I am going to do cal-look with. Should be a simple quick transformation so here it goes!
The Kit... ![]() ![]() How small is it you say? Compared to the Hasegawa 1/24....... ![]() ![]() And a sneak peak of the look I am going for... ![]() Much more to come! Stay tuned!

Re: Air Cooled GB: Tamiya Beetle (of a smaller nature!)
So this is the "great great grandfather" of the VW beetle...
I think it would look better if you stick with the military subject that the kit intends you to build, that would make it one of a kind for sure, but it's your call how it's built. =) |
