Mine shows 404 code??? Mechanic, REset, still occurs, what can a NOVICE do and whre?

Secondly &* maybe more importantly, MONROE messed up my front end upon allignment & struts in Cold weather I notice it more but when wheels are cut there is like a RUBBER band type of sound from the front end, it MIGHT be from the boots? Suggestions on either or both problems, as a word DONT USE MONROE, they made my car worse, I never had the problem with the car untill they fooled with it.

Go to a shop, see if you can get a print out of ALLDATA, or Mitchell's online, of diagnostic steps for '404'.
Might have to offer a few bucks for it.
