Kawasaki ZX-7R with (some) extras

Hi, after mucho head scratching & cursing (damn Protar/Revll kits) I've finally finished my Kwak build...well the 1st one anyway!!!

Not saying I'm a mashocist but I have 2 others on the go, tho' me thinks i'll take a break from crap & concentrate on my other builds.

This is my 1st post & my 1st build using an airbrush....
Hope you like it???
The fairing panels may be added later when I've finished designing the decals

It looks awesome, great job. What's the green - is that the special Tamiya green for this kit, or something else?

Hi, thanx for the comment, I used Zero paints Kawasaki Candy Lime Green at the time it was the closest colour I could get. I know see they do a solid Lime green which looks a closer match.

First of all, WELCOME! Second, nice work! I agree solid green would have looked better but your job with the candy color is superb as well.
May I ask what material you used for the seats?
/Joel

Re: Kawasaki ZX-7R with (some) extras

Hi Joel, thanx for the kind words for the seat I used this MFH adhesive seat cloth

Ketje, it's the Protar kit, same as the Revell only they use dry rub transfers instead of decals...a real pain in the butt to use!!
Luckily I had a Revell kit I could swipe the decals from.
