Unhappy HELP: lost parts, Fujimi Initial-D 180sx

Somehow, i lost all the clear parts (the clear runner, Part G, 480 yen) to my Fujimi 1/24 scale Initial-D 180sx plastic car model. Dont ask me how i lost them, i just did because im dumb.

This kits is "licensed for sale only in Japan" and i live in the United States. I dont know anyone who lives in Japan now.

How would i go about re-ordering these parts? Do i have any other alternatives?

Please help me. Thanks in advance...

Why not post something up in the classifieds? You may just get lucky and someone there could have the pieces you are looking for

i think you can try to email the parts number you need and ask them whether they carry the parts and can ship the parts to US, and the price
etc....

Fujimi offical email:
mailto:[email protected]

website: http://www6.shizuokanet.ne.jp/fujimi/html/menu.html

or try www.hlj.com

Welcome to AF! Sorry it's under bad times for your kits... :o

I lost the windshield to my S2000 kit long, lonig ago, and another member of this board was so kind as to send me a replacement...

Where did you get the kit?

Thanks for the input and the welcome! Very glad to know a comprehensive car forum with automotive art and modeling exists.

I purchased the kit at a local Japanese supermarket (Mitsuwa) in Torrance, CA, where there was a little toy shop inside. From the cardboard boxes of kits i saw, my guess is that someone goes to Japan every now and then and brings back boxloads of merchandise to (illegally) sell for a lot more in the US. I went back there and they didnt have any more Initial-D 180sx kits; even if they did, theyre a rip-off.

Stupid me, I paid about $27 USD for this kit. I just found out that it costs less than $16 USD +shipping if i bought it from www.hlj.com. So i guess that would be my last resort..

Do you know about Best 1, Pegasus, and Legends?

What about Tamiya/Con?

I really dunno if they'd fit the Fujimi model well enough, but i really appreciate the offer. I need all clear pieces:

taillights, trunk taillight, windshield/windows, rear windshield, sunroof, front markers, side markers. headlights and foglights are optional.

Thanks

i have the later model of the 180sx type x with the 3rd revision of the front bumper and taillights

odd thing is that it came with a extra bumper for the 94 model type, and the rear lights for the older ones as well along with fog lamps too. if you want them, they are yours exept for the windscreen of course

i also live in so cal. my first model was a 64 impala with pegasus chrome wire wheels in metallic blue, but im out of my low rider phase. been through the sport truck scene and supercars, now currently in imports. cant say im too happy about they way the general public are going about tuning their cars since ive gotten into the scne in the mid 90s but ehh:finger:

The clear parts should be identical to the ones of the 180SX RP13 Early Version in the Fujimi Inch Up Disk and Carbon Aero series. Both are available worldwide, so you can try ordering parts for either kit (cat nr 03445 or cat nr 18438, in both kits the clear parts tree is also coded 'G').

HTH,
-- Eric.
