Any 4G luders ever have their 4WS light come and stay on, pull to the side of the road, turn off your car, wait a second, try to start it again, but only to have it run for 1-2 seconds, ABS light comes on, wait a little longer, restart and everything runs fine?

This happened before, except it was only the 4WS light that came on, and I parked it for a second while going to the store. The car is still driveable with the 4WS light on.

I have a feeling it's something to do with the 4WS obviously, but why the ABS light and car dying after 2 seconds?

Im currently having the same problem. My 4ws light pops on randomly. When I first start the car in the morning, it never comes on, but after shutting it off, (say to go into a store for a few mins), and then restarting it, it comes on. Seems only after the car has been running, and the restarted it will pop on. Weird. I'm going to try resetting the ECU, if that doesnt work, it's off to the dealership.

Hey, let me know what happens because my car has been doing this more and more frequently. It's making me consider bagging the 4WS, but I like my 3 foot tighter turning radius.
