can anybody identify a cam?

here is the thing I bought a cam for my 94 lt1 the specs of the new cam doesn't matter right now, but when I removed the old cam from the engine I found out that the lobes from the old cm were like 1/8 of an inch bigger then the new one and even more bigger than the stock cam, but the old cam from the engine doesn't have any marks on it to identifi it except for a ''241 CPC'' could that mean something ?? and what does it means?

but what should I do? keep using the old cam or mount the new cam wich the lobes are smaller
