Problems

I started working on the Tamiya RX-7 Cabriolet (the FC3S Turbo targa top with engine) about 6 months ago and I am just starting to paint the body. I washed it and primed it a few days ago, and today I sanded it and put a couple more thin coats of primer on it since there was some dust in the primer before. I used a cardboard box laying on it's side with the flaps open to spray the car, and then I closed the flaps when i was done and inbetween the coats, but I still got some little string looking things and other little specs of dust on it. I did this in my garage btw. Should I maybe try this inside the house (well ventilated room of course) where maybe there is lest dust? Also, I want to redo the interior, but what should I use to take the paint off? I was going to use Castrol Super Clean (I heard you should use that), but I just wanted to make sure I am supposed to use the basic CSC and not the windshield cleaner or anything like that. All help will be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Edit: I also purchased a Tamiya Mitsu Lancer EVO VI, but I was wondering if they make an EVO V?

I also bought a Badger "Basic Spray Gun Set" Model 250. Does anybody have this and have any comments on it? I haven't opened it yet, so I guess I can take it back. Thanks again.

Edit 2: I will try and borrow my dads digital camera and take pics of the chassis and engine and stuff. Also, since I have several coats of primer, can I just sand the body to get the dust off and then paint?

it's the basic one, and I heard the best place to put your car after painting is in the microwave cuz it's the place with less dust

That's the best plan. Use ~1000 to 2000 grit sandpaper and go slowly....

The road EVO VI is the only road-version EVO Tamiya makes. They made the EVO V WRC car; kit 24203:

Thanks guys, I'll have to check that EVO V out.

What should I do after I sand the body again? Should I rinse it with water, wipe it with a dry cloth, or just blow it off?

I wash mine, w/ hand soap and warm water. Then dry w/ a paper towel...

Ya, i wash my modles with meguirs car wash, and then wipe it down with "Dupont Final Klean" to remove all of the oil and stuff, then i use a tack rag to remove dust.

What is a tack rag?

A tack rag is a sticky rag used to remove dust from surfaces; originally used by body shops, I also use one to get dust off just prior to painting. Cost is less than $2 usually. Highly recommended!

I've just bought the same Badger Basic Spray Gun Set, but I don't know anything about it, and since there was no answer to your question about it, I ask it again

. As anyone used this spray gun? What do you think about it (I'm a real beginner, I've bought my first model just last week
