99 GA gas leak
Hello,
my 99 GA SE 3.4 started with a gas smell when inside the garage. Yesterday I noticed some drips on the garage floor and I found out the leak is coming from a small box located under the car close to the rear wheel on the driver's side. I can see a rubber line going in and out, there is a metal plate with 2 nuts holding it in place. I'm not sure but I think it is the fuel filter. I'm anyone could give me some idea what would need to be done to get this fixed. Thank You Weber |

Re: 99 GA gas leak
Sounds like you are describing the charcoal canister. There should not be liquid fule in it. If this is the case it is ruined. Do you stop filling the tank as soon as the pump shuts off or do you just keep squeezing in a little more until you get to the next dollar?

Re: 99 GA gas leak
I usually round it up when I fill it up.
On the floor there is gas and some black stuff with it. Hopefully it will help. Thanks |

The black stuff in it is probably bits of charcoal. Like was said, it's probably ruined, and they're expensive.
