93 SL2 idle problems

My Saturn is idling too slow. In drive at a stop, with AC on, rpm are down around 600. This is something that has been going on for a while. I have replaced the 2 wire temp sender with the brass one. I have removed the I.A.C. valve and cleaned.
A couple publications directed me to check the voltage being sent from ECU. 0-10.75v is supposed to be detected at terminals A-B and olso between C-D. this voltage is supposed to alternate between 0 and 10.75v. All I get is a steady 11.25v at both locations. This is with vehicle at normal temperature with keyswitch on, not running. Once again, your help will be much appreciated.

Normal RPM's. Theres nothing to worry about

Cold start rpms may be around 1000. Normal operating rpms should be near 600-800

Re: 93 SL2 idle problems

Im sorry guys, What I ment to say was the vehicle idles at 600 - 650 rpm in park with nothing running. Turn on AC or put car in gear and rpm drop below 600. In other words, vehicles rpm is not being maintained in the 600-800 range.

Re: 93 SL2 idle problems

Ah yes, that would indicate a problem.

When you removed the IAC did you turn it at all? If i were you i would remove the IAC and push it in SLIGHTLY. .5mm-1mm put it back in and see if idle raises under load. My first guess is there is something wrong with the IAC.
