Question about tilt column on 85 suburban
hello members new here just got a great deal on an old 85 4 wheel drive and have a few issues with it so I am sure you all will be hearing from me in the future anyway first thing is the tilt on the column is really loose anyone know where the best place to start to fix that would be or would I need a whole new column from a salvage yard? oh yeah forgot to mention I have an 88 2 wheel drive suburban that i can take parts off of, motor and body are shot on it, what are some good parts i should take before i haul it to the salvage yard? thanks fellas

Welcome onto the boards there...
Loose tilt on the column? You mean the column itself? As in after you set the column, you still have some up and down in the wheel??? Or it the stick for unlocking the tilt wheel loose? |

well i pulled everything apart and it is a bad bearing so the whole column will have to come out, man this thing is great me and my buddy take it down by the nuke plant in the woods 4 wheeling i love it
