I would think if you got the wiper controls (the box with the stick that attaches to the steering column) that it would turn your wipers into the ones like an Si or DX. I need to do this as I fried my 1 position and now my wipers don't go back down automatically, its annoying.

Hmm?

Do you think it would be possoible to swap in the variable wipers out of the newer hondas? Just an Idea, becuase my girl friend has a 2000 accord and she has the really nice multiple variable speeds on her wiper control. THe control lever looks and works the same way our civics do but I wonder if I could swap them. .........I am going to look into that!
Hey I live in Seattle It Rains all the time here so this is a very important idea. HAHAHAHa
Thanks

Since we are on the topic of wipers, I might as well throw this out here.

I have a problem with the back wiper on my 90 Civic Hatchback, only the bottom/left part of the blade actually touches the window when it's in use.

I tried putting those spring/clips on the wiper arm but it didn't help.

Would I simply need to replace that spring in the wiper arm or do I need a whole new wiper arm?

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks
Joey
