Angry 02 alero intermittent starting issue

02 Alero with new no start issue, It's not passlock as symptoms are different.

This has become a prob, car will crank but not start. May start next morning, may start 20 minutes later. may start for 2 weeks, then suddenly not. The issue is getting more frequent. Care runs fine when started, so assume injectors clean. Fuel pump comes on and seems to prime. It's not occurring due to weather conditions. BTW 137k miles V6 3.4

So far, this is whats been done:
1 New Plugs and wires (was overdue anyway
2 New air filter
3 Fuel Filter replaced in april
4 replaced fuel relay in engine compartment
5 no error codes being detected
6 local mechanic couldn't id problem (as intermittent)

Possible causes ?:

Maf sensor
STarter/Starter solenoid
Crank Position sensor
cam position sensor
fuel regulator going bad
coil going bad

other possible items, or anyone been down this road before. As I said I don't believe its passlock ( i have that issue also) and totally diffrent symptom as car will crank, and seem to have good power (I can try swapping battery from truck if it fits)

Any help with POS would be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: 02 alero intermittent starting issue

The car will crank with the Passlock problem also. Passlock shuts off the fuel supply, not electrical power.
I would do the Passlock bypass first, then you know for sure it isn't passlock. Next, fuel regulator, they are a common problem area. Pull the line from the top of it, if there is fuel, it's bad.
