CopOut of the boxbuild

Got around finishing this one yesterday, omitted the search lights as they looked rather poor in the chrome. Maybe I'll put som Alclad on them and add later on.

Nothing fancy, a spraycan paint job on the body and some brush and airbrush Tamiya acrylics on the rest. No detailing at all, just what came in the box. Gave me a blast from the past as I saw one at a friends house in the mid 70's. Took about 35 years before I built my own one.


This is what it looks like:







As soon as the trailer is finished I will put this little combo together. The stance on the trailer is a bit high in this picture but it's taken care of now and is lower today.

My mercury is still waiting for me to find the parts to turn into Sheriff from "Cars". Damn hard to find those cop car bits

Very cool model. I doubt if I could leave that engine alone without some basic wiring, its just begging for it. You sure did a great job with just a spraycan and brush, your skills are really showing.
