Leak in Fuel Line

Wonder if anyone can help 96 aurora where the fuel line connects to the fuel rail has a crack in it and is leaking gas how do you replace the shrink on fuel line? Can you just use the rubber fuel hose?

if you cut out the section of cracked line and flare each end, rubber furl hose should do fine
