engine swap

does anybody know how easy u can swap a v6 for a v4 in a 2000 eclipse gs and of you have to use a diff tranny?

There's no such thing as a "V4" in mitsubishis. You have an inline 4.

Yes, you can do the swap, but it would cost several thousand dollars and you would essentially need a whole Eclipse GT front clip worth of parts to perform the swap.

Something to think about: virtually every aspect of a car under the hood is built around and dependant on the size of the engine. So in order to swap out a V4 for a V6 (or the other way around) you would also essentially need to replace all other components.
