91 PA won't start
I had problems earlier with my PA all of a sudden not starting. Took the started out to have it checked and it checked out OK. Had the coil checked and that was OK. Finally ended up being the solenoid. That was about 6 months ago. The other day it wouldn't start. I took the starter out again and it and the solenoid checked out. When you turn the key all lights come on and you get a click (from the solenoid) but nothing else. Is this just a loose wire somewhere? Very frustrating as now I am driving 100 miles each way to work three days each week.

Re: 91 PA won't start
When you hear a click from the starter and no crank, do the lites dim when this happens, all the battery and ground connections clean and tight?

Re: 91 PA won't start
The lights don't dim. Connections appear to be clean and tight.

Re: 91 PA won't start
yes and theres a fusable link that go's to starter that need replaced every once and awhile. i put new starter on the 91 pa and still would'nt start then replaced fusable link and that was the cause. and under your hood by firewall theres a cover that you remove and it's easy to remove there is big fuses behind that i would check those also.
