what the hell a freaken volks wagon. check this out!!!
i was driving in the city last night i was stopped at a red light and a vw gti hatchback pulls up next to me and starts reving his freaken engine like crazy. so i look at him and give him a smile
 light turns green and we floor it. by second gear it was over, that muthafucker was pulling on me like crazy, he showed no mercy up by like at least 4 cars by the middle of 2nd and he kept going and just keep pulling. we pulled over at a gas station its an older white male and i asked him if he can pop his hood. he was cool about it and he poped it. it was some kind of swap. said it was a 3.5 litter i think supercharged, fully built up the ass. showed me his dyno and he had 287 hp with 359 lbs of torque!! ARE U FUCKEN KIDDING ME!!!!!!! he said he hit a 11.7 at the track. thing looks bone stock too, i would have never guessed. worst beating i've ever gotten since the swap so far. thing was ridiculously fast. by the way i think he said it was a 93 and he was selling it for $14,500. said he was ready for a new project. just thought you guys might be interested in reading this. for now on gti's with swapped fully built motors need not apply.

Nope, that was the stock VTI engine... And those things are MEAN! I've been spanked by them quite a few times! Light cars, high HP engines that can take a beating!

The vr6 is a nice engine. Stock 174 with 181 ft/lbs. Not bad for stock. My friend has a 96 gti vr6 and the thing is fast. I love hondas, but vw makes a few nice engines.

Sounds familiar to what happened to me saturday, on my way to work I was taking a friend of mine home and I came across a little meet of VW's about 35-40 of them so all at once they all stopped and watched me go by. I didnt think much of it until I here something, by the time I reacted two jetta's are on my ass trying to pass me on the a little road it was stupid. He got next to me, I didnt know what to do so I just dropped back from 3'rd to 2'nd and gave my zc all she had by the time I stopped they were both behind me (25 mph speed limit). Made me a happy camper, so they followed me all the way to her house and back to my work.(the little meet was a block from my work) thats my VW story for ya.

dont feel bad melt, corollas have 125hp. I walked a dude at my work with a corolla with my z6 though, so they're not that fast.

i've still got the stock motor, and it is by no means fast, but i like racing people just to show that they aren't much faster than a 4 door civic with a 1.5L sohc.

yea maybe he had some form of audi engine in there, maybe a 3.2 from the TT, but 3.5 doesnt sound like a VW brand motor.
