Re: 05 Cobalt LS...is possessed....door locks work and dont work
I would start by looking at the relay. Dirty contacts on relays have caused my Grand Am to do some pretty weird things on its own. I would pull the relay and clean the contacts. If that doesn't work you might even try replacing it.

Re: 05 Cobalt LS...is possessed....door locks work and dont work
you can also check this,Power Door Locks Cycling Or Inoperative From The Switches
Models:2005-2008 Chevrolet Cobalt It has been reported that an issue exists that will cause the door locks to cycle when driving and/or become inoperative from the door lock switches. When the condition is present the door locks are inoperative from the switches, however they work normally with the key fobs. (If equipped with Remote keyless Entry)2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuit 2007-2008 Pontiac G5 It is recommended that you connect the Tech-2 to the vehicle and look at the door lock switch status (RFA data-list) it should be reading "Idle". If it reads lock or unlock then check for a possible sticking door lock switch and replace as necessary. also check the master power window switch for corrosion at the connector, seen some with this problem. |
