used truck mileage
How many miles on the odometer would be considered too high for buying a used truck? I am looking to replace a 99 Silverado 4x4 5.3 liter ext cab that had 108,000 miles.(totaled by a fallen tree). For the money I can spend from insurance settlement, ($9615 + about $740 tax), I find higher milage trucks for example 2001 Z71 ext cab 4x4 with 113,000 for $8500. Location: north-east ohio. Thanks, ecnar |

Re: Used truck mileage
On used cars and trucks the 100K mark lowers value a lot.
But the good proper mantiance and condition of them should be considered. Also the bigger 4X4 truck value is way down on car lots. Some places they can not give them away. Never pay the asking price. And shop around. Let them know you are looking other places to. Most will jump on any go way down for any good cash offer. Your banker or insurance agent is the best information on what one is actually worth. Good Luck

Re: Used truck mileage
you have CASH. i bought my 2000 centurion edition, ALL options they had for the year, 4x4, Z71, 58 000 miles, for 9800 bucks, and that was before they fell out of grace with buyers.
