Knocking noise when warm

Hey Everyone,

I have a '05 Outback 2.5I that recently developed a soft knocking noise when the engine is warm. This happens when whether or not the A/C is on. I checked the oil levels (I recently got this oil changed) and it seems it is slightly overfilled. Could this be the cause, or is there something more serious going on?
