oil filter capacity

what is the capacity of my S5 small block chevy oil filter? i need to know so i can cut the correct amount off my dipstick tube to show the right oil level after compensating for the filter by adding what it holds to the pan

just take an old oil filter, fill it with water and then measure the amount of water you put in
