Just picked up my ZC

Well, I finally got my ZC for $500 in Canada. I recomended the place to everyone a week ago but regret it now. They suck ass. Its JDMFaze.com I was promised so many things and got shit. Anyways, I think the TPS is broken because theres a plug going into the throttle body and it looks like it was just torn off. There are 2 wires going into it and their broken. Also, there was a bit of oil all over one of the spark plugs. What does that mean again? Other than that I guess I got a good deal. They treat you like shit there but I got a DOHC ZC with a ZC tranny for $500. Well, basically I just wanted to bitch about them and ask about the TPS and oil on my plug. Anyone know about either?

Oh yea, also, I was thinking about polishing my valve cover. If I take it off would I need to get a new gasket when I put it back on, or could I just put some grease on it and slap it back on?

THIS is why I told you to go with www.Hmotorsonline.com and pay the $750 for the short block! I got mine in PERFECT condition! It had less than 35,000 on it I'll tell you that right now! I tore the bitch apart and the piston rings were still fresh!

1.) The TPS (how much is a new one?)
2.) The Oil on my plug
3.) Polishing the Valbe cover

Oil in the sprak plug tubes means that you need new garmets for the valve cover. I would iamgine that you can use a TPS form like a a6 ( I really don't pay any attention to the ZC's b/c i don't care for them so i'm not sure).

Hell yeah Steve rocks from Honda Motors Online. If there was anything wrong with a motor he sent he would have replaced any broken parts. He makes shure all his customers are happy.

Yea, I called them back... They were like "Is there a problem sir?" I was like "yea! You sons of bitches sent me a perfectly clean motor that actualy has less than 35,000 Miles on it! What the fuck?!" I hear "LOL" I say "Thanks alot guys keep up the good work" Someone on the other end "You got me good man, thanks for calling most people dont bother. If you need anything els let me know I'll hook you up"

You can use the "gromets" Spark plug seals from a D16A1. They fit fine. Use the TPS from a D16A6 it shouldnt be too much. I sand blasted my valve cover, now I will probably powder coat it. IF you descide to sand blast the valve cover, make sure you get it hot tanked! Also were you at? I want that trany! Is it a 5speed?

Oh! BTW on #3, was there oil on the END of the plug? Of just in the plug cylinder? I hope for gods sake just IN the cyl because if it was on the end of the plug its iether #1. Motor block is toast! or #2. Head is toast! Make sure you speify next time.

Well with the PM7 Ecu and 98 octane fuel (What they use in japan) The little Dohc Zc puts out a plentifull 137 Hp at the crank as well as 108 ft lbs Tq. Giving the B16A1 only 23 more hp and 3 ft lbs of tq... By the way, when you do internals on the ZC... You will net a much larger Tq than you would with a B16 becasue of Vtec.

The crx si that my friend and I built with the zc in it only had i/h/e and it pulls really hard. I have raced many civics and a lot of integras and the zc only lost to a gsr, but I think the guy did a lot to it. I would deff. suggest getting the zc. I love d series engines becasue there are way too many people going b series. It's just my 2 cents. the b16 and b18 are great motors I just like being the underdog I guess.
