flywheel
i bought an engine a 2.0 out of another talon for my 91 eagle talon,is the flywheel different from 91 models to say 97 models.5 speed manual.reason im asking is i cannot get enough pedal to get the car in gear.thought maybe the flywheel may be thicker,an set the clutch ,pressure plate, closer to the release bearing.thanks

Re: flywheel
The 91 probably is a 6 bolt and the 97 is a 7 bolt. So no it will not work.

Re: flywheel
bringing this back, shoot me. but interested in getting a ligher flywheel when i do the clutch swap, looking specifically at the ACT streetlite Chrome-moly, or the Fidanza Aluminum flywheel. the act is 11.6lbs. and the Fidanza is 8lbs. my question is "whcih flywheel would be best for my set up? im planning on running a Fidanza 4.3 clutch kit, and i just need a little help with this decision" anything you guys can offer me is greatly appreciated! thanks

Re: flywheel
I have a fidanza lightweight and really like it. One of the best things about it is you can change the wear plate w/out replacing the whole flywheel.

Re: flywheel
well, seeing as how the flywheel is only 8lbs, do you think that could cause any problems? i know that the act one is almost 4lbs more... which is already lighter then stock... i guess my main concern is that i do not want to go too lite. any feed back on that silver? or anyone else for that matter?

Re: flywheel
i have the ACT flywheel and noticed no driveability characteristics people complain about like having to rev a little higher to not stall it going into 1st.

Re: flywheel
I also have the 8 pound fidanza fly, and driveability isnt a problem. I dont have to rev it up or anything while taking off.
