Put the adjustment back to where it was. Rebleed the clutch line. After you do it... rebleed again.

You probably have air in your hydrolics. Bleed the hell out of your system and then set up the adjustments. Someone on here with a 4g63 can help you with that. The 420a clutches do not have adjustments like that.

Re: clutch engage problem
|THis type of clutch engagement/disengagement problem is very typical in dsms. There is a clutch slave cylinder extension rod which you can purchase. That often helps.
http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...&cat=691&page= The other thing is to switch to a ss braided clutch line and bypass the accumulator. http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...cat=612&page=1 And yes bleeding the clutch line always helps.

Re: clutch engage problem
Check to make sure your slave or master cylinder is not leaking. Doesn't sound like it but it never hurts. Also it may help changing over to a SS line. Mine got old and some times the clutch wouldn't release bc the line would balloon up some.

Re: clutch engage problem
i just came in,put the old master cylinder on it,same deal.see before i ever put any new parts on this car.the car was the same way.infact my boy drove it,but had to put it in gear an then start it.after he got going it was ok.well,he end up getiing the trans stuck in two gears.so i put a new clutch kit.plus a good used trans, because the other one was shot.new slave an new master cylinder.the clutch pedal is the same way it was before.thats why im thinking its the clutch pedal.has anyone ever had a problem with the pedal assembly

Re: clutch engage problem
It seems like you have replaced everything that can be replaced. Swap your clutch line to the braided one, and then bleed it over it and over and over and adjust your pedal. I had to bleed the pure-t-shit out of mine, but it finally got there.
