Please help on deciding which car to buy...

should I buy a '93 geo metro xfi (xfi is preferred d/t better fuel efficiency), NO rust, undercoated recently, clean condition...for 3200.00. Mileage 51,000. light blue, hubcaps. New front tires. Had been sitting unused for a while, now a shop fixed it up. But I have to travel 90 miles each way to get it.

OR a '96 plain metro, airbags, CD player which is "very good", 42000 miles, "a little rust", no hubcaps. Good condition. Not attractive green/blue metallic color. 3500.00

Also, can this "little rust" be halted? Can I still undercoat it at this point? How much is that? Thanks!!

My '87 volvo I have put a lot of money in, and it is slowly kind of falling apart, and I cringe that something goes wrong with it this winter, though the engine is reliable, nothing else is...except that it's really comfortable.
