Sunbird GT headlight eyebrows covers lids problems

I have a 1989 Sunbird GT with the pop-up head light eyebrows. Well, they weren't working too well. I did some searching and found a guy on ebay that is selling 6 little bushings and the instructions to install them.

These fixed the headlight covers so that they will raise and lower with NO TROUBLE. I had to tell somebody about these because they are cheap and the repair is not very hard to do.

The Ebay seller name is rsreinhart and the kit is called the sunbird headlight motor rebuild kit. It cost me 4.95 and 5.95 for shipping.

Rebuilt headlight motors are in the hundreds of dollars.

If you have these covers on your Sunbird GT or regular Sunbird, and they go open as you are driving down the road or they open slowly and the motors run for a long time and the headlight covers don't do anything / then this is your cure. YOU WON"T BELIEVE IT.
