Dodge Ram Misfire

Hey guys I keep getting repeated cylinder 1 misfires in my 02 Dodge Ram 1500. I changed out just the spark plug the first time, then the second time I changed all of the plugs and wires. And now I got another misfire. When I take the spark plug out it seems like its burnt. What can I do?

Re: Dodge Ram Misfire

Check the fuel injector, switch it with another one (like #3 for instance)and see if the misfire moves to that cylinder . Or just buy a new and try it,if the misfire stays remove it and put the old one back in and you'll have the new one for trouble shooting purposes. And also do a search for the Dodge TSB on spark plug wire routing. And did you replace the cap and rotor? If you didn't. get a good cap with brass inserts.
