Crank Pully Question
Is the crank pully on a 99 1.0 the same as the 99 1.3?
I have a bad pully on my 1.3 and I have a parts car with a 1.0. Just checking before I pull it apart. Thanks |

Re: Crank Pully Question
I can't say for sure that they are the same, but when looking through the wrecking yard, I have found that the pulleys on all the Mark 3's look to be the same. Main thing to check is the number of bolts holding the pulley to the crank gear are the same on both. Once you have it out, I'm sure you'll know right away if the pulleys are different diameters.

Re: Crank Pully Question
I believe they are but measure them up side by side to be sure.

Re: Crank Pully Question
Just to let everyone know,
The crank pully on the 1.0 engines are not the same as the 1.3 The 1.0 is smaller around but they do both have 5 bolts holding them on. Also, a little more information, the crank pully on a 97 1.3 is different then one on a 2000 1.3 Carl |
