golf 2.0 / 2003 AC Problem

Hi everyone, I have this strange problem with my golf and thought if someone here could drop a tip.
when the car is not moving (low rpm) the AC doesn't cool at all, but when the car is running it works just fine.
in details:
I noticed that when the car is not moving (low rpm) , the AC cools for 20 seconds then it feels like it stopped for another 20 seconds then starts cooling again for anther 20 seconds then stops and so on. actually it doesn't stop, it is just not cooling, works like a fan.
and once when i had to stop for 10 minutes and the AC was on, the car temprature got alittle up.
any idea about that?

Sounds like your engine/auxilary fan is not working when you turn on your ac. When you turn on your ac you should hear the engine fan come on. The rise in engine temperature is also related to the fan not working. Check your ac fan fuse to see if it is blown. Your manual should tell you where to locate the fuse box and fuse.

actually you were right
but not a fuse, I had to change the whole fan that was for the heating problem, the other problem that the A/C is cooling only when the car is running, that was the A/C Filter
Thanks you veryt much
