91 chevy throttle sticks???

I have a 1991 chevy silverado, it has 225000 miles on it and runs great. The problem is when I push the throttle in with my foot it will stick and first and then go to the floor. If I turn the idle screw up on the throttle body it will not do this but in return it idles to high. Is there something worn out in the throttle body or something. thanks

get to the pintle valve and move it with hand. if there's a round circle of tar where it mates to the throttle body, that's what makes it stick. cheap gas mostly.
clean with carb cleaner and toothbrush.

your throttle body bushing could be worn...check for excessive lateral movement...look at the throttle plate and bore for debris or scrap marks...the answer to your question should be seen here..

disconnect the cable. move the cable and then the throttle body, could also be cable as well as throttle body...
