Coolant elbow replacement (where's the little one?)
Hi all,
I had a leak in one of the coolant elbows so I went to the dealership with the part numbers from bnaylor's post in the tips and maintenance section. The guy said the second part number which is for the small of the two elbows was not found when trying to look it up. Anyway, my question is, where is the smaller elbow? I already replaced the larger of the two that goes between the tensioner bracket and intake manifold. I have a 98 GTP 3800 series 2 supercharged. Thanks

Re: Coolant elbow replacement (where's the little one?)
I dont understand how you could have replaced the one without finding the other.
Better go have a look again. The alternator comes off, alt bracket, then the belt tensoiner assembly which is held on by three 15mm bolts (I believe). There is one more smaller coolant elbow pretty much right under the alternator. Not vesable without removing the alt.
