kinda lost....

ok so i have searched around for some time trying to find out what the problem is but i cant seem to figure it out so maybe someone can point me in the right direction. so my front end is making some racket and it likes to pull to the right strong. if a am sittin in park with the wheel straight and i crank the wheel left to right quickly i can hear a clunking that sounds just like when i drive over rough areas. such as when i drive on gravel with big rocks and can hear this whatever it is so i dk if its something to do with the rack and pinion? and also rather this has anything to do with it, as i speed up the wheel sort of goes to the right on its own and the faster i go the more it pulls towards the white line. and when i reach about 60 or 65 mph the steering wheels starts shakin a little. i recently took it to a garage and had him align the front and rear since i just replaced struts and he said it was all in line and he said maybe the reason it was pullin was because one of my tires were junk because its a Radial tire and that i should have a shop spin balance it to see which one is going bad but i have the same problem with my stock wheels, it still pulls. he said the tie rods were getting SLIGHTLY loose but that shouldnt effect it. does anyone have any idea what the deal is? im kinda lost and am about to give up looking. also if it helps its a 2000 GT with 154000k. the tires are a directional Nexen N3000 if you think thats whats causing it? thanks for anyone who can help...

Re: kinda lost....

ya we checked all the bushings and everything looks in good shape. we noticed the the sway bar up front is broken on the drivers side...not completely but the bottom is broke off where it connects. so i dk if that has any play in the problem and yes the mounts are brand new

Re: kinda lost....

You're problem may be the right front hub bearing, but i would also change the "slightly loose" outer tie rod and the stabilizer bar as both of those could be contributing to the issue.

On the broken stabilizer bar, I would not let that go. We had a member that had one break in half, dig into the pavement, and send his car flying over a guardrail.
