Pics of cleaning the ignition switch security light gone

Cleaning the ignition switch, if your security light doesn’t let you start the car then this may be part of your problem. I did it on mine and the light is off and it didn’t blink again, no starting trouble. The Passlock security system is still working well so I won’t be disabling Passlock soon.

Once it’s apart from the assembly you’ll have to pop the back out so
2 flat heads, 2 q-tips, bottle cap, and a tough napkin
Some electric cleaner maybe WD-40 but dry it

You may see some black gunk on the contact points
Take it apart and clean all the metal pieces, except the springs I pulled on them to give it some strength.

Thanks for the detailed pics and steps. Now I won't be scared as much to do this on my own
