Re: led dash lights

it would be hard to change colors because the bulbs that are in there are regular 194's I believe. The red color comes from the guage cluster itself making changing the bulbs any color but red or white pretty much worthless unless you want to put blue ones in there and make a purple cluster.

Re: led dash lights

yeah, I've seen someone change the dash cluster and window switches to blue. you have to buy a different cluster in order to change it. as far as the window switches, there is a little red cover that you can pop off from them to make them clear.

its way too much work in my opinion. plus i think the red looks cool

Re: led dash lights

I can't find the old thread but I recall a few years back we had a member change the IP lamp color. It was done in conjunction with the white face panel mod for the gauges. See link below. I recall you can get the 194 IP lamps in different colors.

Here is the link to the lamp supplier with the LED version.

Re: led dash lights

Hey, I just wanted to thank everyone for their help.Sorry it took so long to thank all of you but I've been away from the computer for a few days. But I did find a brand new white '03 limited edition gauge cluster on ebay today and bought that.maybe when I get it I'll see about putting some white leds in to clean it up a little bit.
