98 Accord Acceleration Problem

I've got a 98 accord that is sputtering and hesitating for a few seconds during the initial acceleration. It doesn't do it every time though. It does it after the car has been sitting for a while. I have seen it do it after the first acceleration but not as often. Once it gets through the acceleration it runs great. I've changed spark plugs, rotor button, and air filter and haven't solved it yet. I was going to change the fuel filter but I couldn't find it. I followed the lines coming out of the gas tank but didn't see it. I was also thinking that maybe even the fuel pump might be causing the problem, but I'm just guessing. If anybody has any ideas or suggestions I really would appreciate them. Thanks

Re: 98 Accord Acceleration Problem

Your spark wires are not that old but check those too. If wires are OK see if that page can help:

Good luck,
