clay bar
Anyone ever use a clay bar to try to remove dust from paint? I am wondering if it works before I get everything out.

If you mean a clay bar for automotive use I think it's more for removal of surface contaminants such as tree sap, tar and the like.Just use some fine wet and dry to remove embedded dust particles.Use it wet.
