69 Corvette 427

This is my first attempt at posting pics of some of my completed work.
So please bear with me as I struggle with the picture posting process.

The kit is a Revell Baldwin-Motion kit bulit without the stripes.
Changed the wheels for some Fujimi ones I had in the parts box.
Paint is Fathom Green Metallic. Testors Lacquer, correct for GM.

Please enjoy.

And if this works well, I will have lots more to come.

matt

Re: 69 Corvette 427

It's an attractive, clean build. Did you encounter any issues during the assembly?

Looks great, take some pics closer up! Missed the front hood though. Either way its a nice build.

Re: 69 Corvette 427

Tonio-
Thanks, that means a lot coming from you.
As for issues, the body had to be stretched a little to fit over the chassis.
Though that's somewhat normal for a Revell kit.
And for fitment, I think the only problems I had with the kit were the headers meeting the side exhaust. Left kind of a big gap, but you can't really tell with it on the display shelf.

Mid-Mazar -
Thanks as well, but I am not sure what you mean by "you missed the hood".
