Ford Mustang Convertible WIP updated 17.11.

After completing the Jada kit I continue my 'Mustangs project' with a convertible. Just started, I cut the roof off and did little mods concerning the front bumper and grille. More to come as the slow progress goes, the only pic for now is here:

Any C&C are welcome!

Re: Ford Mustang Convertible WIP

Little update as the progress goes on slowly in lack of time: modified front and hood, filled spoiler holes on the trunk so far, interior and engine parts were painted.

Re: Ford Mustang Convertible WIP

The progress goes so slow, sorry. The body is painted grassgreen, not cleared yet, just to show the color. Interior is mostly done, I painted it black / brown combo with some gunship gray accent, and used tan carpets in the interior. Belts also are added, just as the driving figure with a dog. What do you guys think?

Re: Ford Mustang Convertible WIP

Looks like a nice combination.

I like the colour. Seems a bit unusual for this car, but I like it anyway.
Interior is looking great too. Did you buy the figures as shown, or did you have to paint them yourself.
I think they fit the car nicely.

Re: Ford Mustang Convertible WIP

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this thread. I just got a new Ford Mustang, so I am all into building Mustang models right now. I might have to try to do a convertible conversion some day.

Re: Ford Mustang Convertible WIP

Thanks dude, still I'm undecided about putting racing stripes on this convertible or not. What do you think?

It does, yes, but the figure also has a big size tatto on his left forearm, I guess Barack Obama doesn't

This is how it looks with stripes: no Mustang racing stripes but I made something different. What do you think?

Re: Ford Mustang Convertible WIP

Are those stripes off a 70-72 Trans Am? They look like them. Great work.
