1980 k10 dies well driving. (electrical)
i was driving and out of know where it died. i can turn on my head lights and stuff but when i turn my key i get no dash lights and it wont start. i checked my silanoid and its fine. bought a new ignition switch and it still doesnt work. i am thinking it might be a fusable link. if anyone knows what exactly is wrong or has a clue i would appriciate it.

Re: 1980 k10 dies well driving. (electrical)
When you say it won't start...does it turn over and spin? Do you just hear a click? Nothing? That would help diagnosis. But for it to die while driving, the most common culprit is a dead ignition coil. Godo luck!

i figured it out, it was the HOT wire comming from my silanoid going to my ignitoion switch, owner before me rewired it and spliced it and did a very very bad job. thats anyways man
