Noisy wipers

The wiper blades on my 98 GP will wipe fine once or twice and then chatter noisily after especially when they are at the top of the cycle . I cleaned the windscreen and replaced the blades but have not solved the problem. Any ideas?

Re: Noisy wipers

Try a good coat of your favorite car wax on the glass. Apply, let it haze and then remove just as you would from the painted surfaces.

Re: Noisy wipers

Be careful with wax, as cheaper waxes can yellow over time and cause bad nighttime glare.

Re: Noisy wipers

Tried it this morning. What a difference? Now I am praying for rain to test the result. Thanks again .

Good point. I use Meguiar's Gold Class and have no issues.
