Electronic Leveling Control problem
I have a '93 pontiac bonneville ssei. I have had it for around 5 years now and just now I have started to have battery problems. First thought I just needed a new battery since mine was 5 years old already. After installing a new battery and having the car run fine for two days the next morning I came out and the battery was completely dead. So I figured something must be draining my battery while the car is off and sure enough I used a tester and the electronic leveling control was lighting up. The pump/compressor was going off every five minutes. Now that i've diagnosed that I have no idea what I need to do next. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Re: Electronic Leveling Control problem
Either the Rear Air struts are shot and leaking from the rubber bladder, or you could have a line leak.. my best guess is the car may be due for new rear air struts...

Re: Electronic Leveling Control problem
So my best diagnosis would be jacking the back end up and listen for a leak in the struts? I'm kinda new to the whole car maintenance thing.
Thanks |
