Need help with 1987 Firebird
Hi,
My father-in-law has a Firebird that is leaking anti-freeze near the water pump. He said his local mechanic replaced it, but it is still leaking. His local mechanic also said he didn't know why it was leaking and suggested that the head gasket be replaced, but also told my father-in-law that the mechanic that replaces the head gaskets wasn't working that day. I can replace it for them and know that it may be an all day job, but wanted to make sure it was the head gasket before I start disassembling the engine. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks, |
