95 eclipse rs wont idle and hit rev limiter at 3500
ok need help i have a 95 eclipse rs i have just recently rebuilt the head when i put it all back together it ran fine then i put a obx oversize intake manifold and a under drive crank pully and a aem intake and msd wires and coil pack new plugs and oversized throttle body on and after all that it will no long run right it will crank up fine evertime but it wont idle right it starts idleing real low then it will come back to normal idle then then drops back down and when i push the gas it will hit the limter at 3500 rpms i have changed both sensors on the throttle body so i not sure what else it could be now you do have two sensors on the intake but the new intake does not have a hole for them so i dont have them in the intake but thay are hooked up but just hanging there

Re: 95 eclipse rs wont idle and hit rev limiter at 3500
what two sensors are on the intake. you should really only have the two in the throttle body ( tps- throttle position sensor, and the IAC- intake air control) then you should have the maf (mass air flow sensor) on the end of the intake manifold and a Air temp sensor in the middle of the intake manifold. so what are the on the two in the intake hose it's self.

okay so I just reread it. that is your porblem. the sensor closest to the passenger wheel is the maf and that is just about as important as your fuel system. either talk to the manufacturer of the manifold to see what ther recommend or find someway to get it in the intake manifold.
