squeek squeek

My van has started squeeking like a dog toy. I've climbed under and see nothing obvious. I sprayed the bushings, but nothing helps. I noticed when it rains, the sound dissappears. When the car is parked, I rocked the vehicle and "bounced" the front end.

enginge mount?

Re: squeek squeek

My 99 Venture is squeaking now too. I am going to replace the front sway bar links with new ones from NAPA for about $10. I will let you know if this takes care of the problem.

?? What's a sway bar? Is that the stabilizer bar? Are you going to replace the shaft links that bolt down on the stud and mate with the bar?

If that's causing your squeak, I'll be really suprised--please post back and let us know what you find.
