96 Eldo Shifting Problem

[Tut 1]

I just bought a 96 Eldo and it seems to be only going forward in 2nd gear?
Have checked fluids,SES light is on also Service emissions on EVIC Park, Reverse work fine & manually shifting does no diff ----also have ABS/Trac Cntrl Lights on and Engine idles @2000. I did find out that Intake is leaking(sprayed Starting Fluid) I am in the process of changing Gaskets Car has 120k Thank you for any assistance Caddy Tut
